Self-Paced Courses

Professional Learning for Schools
LLS can deliver professional learning directly to your school, tailored to the needs of your staff and students. Built around the realities of school life: practical, time-conscious, and free of extra planning for teachers.
One-hour session
$1,500 1 hr
A focused introduction to one language or literacy issue. Best for: a staff meeting or PL block. For a staff of 40, that’s under $38 per teacher.
Half-day
$2,500 3 hrs
More time for staff learning, application and discussion. Best for: a PL afternoon or twilight session.
Full day
$3,500 6 hrs
A deeper professional learning experience focused on understanding, application and implementation. Best for: a Staff Development Day.
Price includes travel and resources.
Topics can be selected according to your school's priorities.
Topics include: oral language, reading, writing, EAL/D, scaffolding and intervention.
Online Focus Sessions
Focused professional learning for educators who want to understand the problem behind the strategy.
LLS's focused one-hour live online session provides a practical introduction to a specific language or literacy issue.
Each session helps teachers understand the problem, recognise what it can look like in practice, and consider what an appropriate response might involve.

Best for: individual educators and schools wanting an accessible introduction to a specific topic.
